When we looking at a diamonds colour grade, we are referring to its lack of colour. In other words we are looking at the whiteness of the diamond, the less colour a diamond has, the higher its grade.
We choose to stock diamonds from D to I on the colour grading scale, as these stones are which meet our quality guidelines.
D (Absolutely Colourless)
This is the highest colour grade, the diamond presents absolutely no warmth or colour to it. This colour grade is considered very rare.
These diamonds are considered are and only a small amount of colour can be detected by a gemologist.
G-H (Near Colourless)
These diamonds appear white and colour is difficult to detect unless they are compared with diamonds of a better grade.
I-J (Near Colourless)
In these diamonds there is some warmth of colour tone detectable.
K-M (Noticeable Colour)
These diamonds have alot of colour and warmth detectable to the naked eye.
N-Z (Noticeable Colour)
