The Design

This dreamy oval cluster engagement ring, was custom created in house at our London jewellery workshop. Our client loved the idea of either a round or oval center diamond set in a very classic yet striking halo cluster. After inspecting both, she loved the soft elongated shape of an oval diamond so we decided to focus on this diamond shape for the design. 

We decided to create the piece with a platinum head which encases the diamonds, a design trick which makes the diamonds pop and allow the claws to visually blend in with the diamonds. Our client wears both yellow gold and white gold as part of her everyday collection, which is why we liked the idea of making the engagement ring versatile to go with all of her jewellery.

Manufacturing

The two tone look was achieved by casting this engagement ring in 2 pieces, which were designed like a puzzle to click together perfectly for our master jeweller to assemble at the bench. Once both parts of the ring were soldered together, the diamonds were meticulously hand-set by our in house diamond setter creating this gorgeous oval halo.

We are over the moon with how this piece turned out, the oval diamond is beautifully enhanced by the scintillanting surround diamonds. A true vision of classic elegance which will be cherished for years to come.
