We care about craftsmanship and are passionate about creating quality fine jewellery, which is why we offer a lifetime manufacturers warranty on all of our jewellery. If you do believe that your jewellery has a manufacturing defect, you are welcome to send it to us for inspection. If we confirm that the piece does have a manufacturing defect, we will repair or potentially replace the item if applicable.
If it is clear that the damage is not caused by a manufacturing defect, we will contact you to let you know of repair options and any costs incurred to do so.
Normal wear and tear of jewellery will not be covered under the manufacturers warranty. This is because jewellery can come under significant abuse when worn frequently. It is important to understand that although fine jewellery is strong and hard-wearing it is not indestructible and some care must be taken when wearing it. Issues which we do not consider manufacturing defects are as follows:
- Loss or theft of the jewellery
- Discoloration of metals due to exposure to various elements such as chemicals, use of makeup, swimming pools etc.
- Claws (prongs) which have been bent out of place due to knocks or force applied to the ring causing a stone to fall out
- Claws which need building up due to general wear and tear
- The loss of stones due to general wear and tear or other damage.
At Hyde Park Design, every bespoke piece is meticulously designed and handcrafted to your individual specifications. From gemstone selection and design development to setting and finishing, each creation is a true work of art made exclusively for you.
Due to the highly personalised nature of bespoke jewellery and the significant time, craftsmanship, and resources involved, we are unable to accept returns, exchanges, or refunds on custom-made pieces once production has commenced.
This policy is in line with consumer regulations regarding personalised and made-to-order goods.
However, your satisfaction is paramount. In the unlikely event of a manufacturing fault, we will of course assess the piece and carry out any necessary repairs in line with our workmanship guarantee.
We encourage all clients to review designs, specifications, and approvals carefully before final confirmation. Our team is always on hand throughout the design process to ensure complete confidence before creation begins.

At Hyde Park Design, every ring is handcrafted with precision and care. We understand that achieving the perfect fit is essential, and we are pleased to offer the following resizing policy:
- The first resize is complimentary, provided it is requested within 6 months of intial purchase.
- This complimentary resize applies to standard size adjustments only (typically up or down by up to 2 sizes, subject to design).
- Any subsequent resizes will be chargeable. Costs will vary depending on the complexity of the design, materials, and labour required.
- Certain designs (including full eternity bands, highly intricate settings, or rings with gemstones set around the entire band) may have limited or no resizing options. Clients will be advised of this at the time of purchase.
- Resizing can be done within 48h on working weekdays.
- Rings showing signs of damage, wear, or alteration by a third party may not be eligible for complimentary resizing.
We always recommend having your ring professionally measured, and our team is happy to assist with sizing guidance prior to finalising your piece.
